I have had this low end heart monitor for several years now and have been very satisfied with it. I use it riding bike, running and inline skating and
have had good results. I especially like that it is just a heart rate monitor and watch and not everything under the sun that I don't need or want.
It gives me my maximum, minimum and avg along with my total workout time, all you really need.

The Cardiosport Go Heart Rate Monitor is the only heart rate monitor I could find at a reasonable price that would show me my resting heart rate (while sleeping).
The Go button is very difficult requiring many hard presses to Go. The chest strap is very rigid and will not maintain contact with the chest unless you lie perfectly still on your back. If you turn on your side it will lose contact with your chest and shut down.

This is exactly what I was looking for, a cardiac monitor that doesn't average. When I'm exercising and my heart rate pops up into the 200s, I don't have to wait a minute or two to see that, it's right on there. This is easy to use, the batteries are easy to change and last a respectable amount of time, and it seems immune to copious quantities of sweat.

I have only had one bit of trouble with it, and that is when I'm doing sprints up steep hills. My arms really swing far and fast during those and it seems that the communication between the chest and wrist pieces has a bit of trouble as the numbers are suddenly off by a factor of 2. It is obvious when that happens and doesn't require math skills to compensate.

Having tried other monitors in this price range, I found this one to be much better than the rest. I'd buy it again, if my unit ever died, but after 5 or 6 years of use it shows no signs of that.
