More and more emphasis is laid on the fact that dialysis treattment has a massive impact on cardiovascular disease. Many factors have been identificated as riskfactors. Many approaches have been attempted in order to decrease the risk for cardiovascular disease. Dr Dorhout Mees wrote an excellent review about the many aspects of cardiovascular disease in dialysis. I can recommend this to anyone working at dialysis units.
