I cannot say enough good things about this book! If it were not for this book I would not have passed, let alone gotten an A on our cardiac exam in MedSurg. This book broke things down in a way that I could visualize what was happening in the body. My fellow classmates tried to memorize this material and it was very difficult for them and they did not score as well. I feel that I have retained the information that I learned. I feel confident in my knowledge, which is something nursing students need! I recommend this book to anyone who needs a bit more simplistic approach to the heart. I think that people who have a good understanding would find this book a waste, but if you are unfamiliar with the cardiovascular system or are looking to refresh your long forgotten knowledge, then buy this book!

Very impressive resource book on Cardiac Care. Reads easily with simplified terminology. Great graphics for visual learners. Great book for new nurses as well as nurses wishing to brush up on Cardiac knowledge. I cannot say enought about this book!!

I love visual aids. This book is excellent for this. When taking a test or in clinical explaining it to my instructor this book gave me my edge!

This book was very helpful in helping me develop my cardiac lecture for freshmen nursing students. It is very easy to understand and the pictures are great!! The incredibly easy series is very useful for beginning nursing students and I would highly recommend the books and the magazine! Thank you!!

I have had great experiences with the Made Easy series, so I figured that I would enjoy the Cardiovascular Visual book. I have to say that it was a mistake purchasing this book. If you are the kind of person that has enough money to spend carelessly on books, go for it. (I made the mistake of purchasing it for close to the retail price... not currently available at a discounted price). I would not recommend purchasing this book due to the fact that it is very basic knowledge and the visuals are not adequate for healthcare professionals. There are other resources to aid in knowledge that are of equivalent price. A good point is that it is not intimidating whatsoever; however, the information found in this text can be easily found (for free) on the right websites. Hope this helps because I was surprised that so many people raved about this book.

This book was just what I have been looking for. I read the chapter on cardiovasuclar care three times in my med-surg book before I got this book and never truly understood but when you can see it all the concepts truly make sense. Thanks for another GREAT book.

The information is accurate, easy to find and most importantly easy to understand. The book is great for beginner students or even for those knowledgeable folks who need to 'bring it down a level' to explain what is going on to your patients. Great illustrations, they make it easy to follow the contents and provide that visual so many learners need.

This book is really awesome for visual learners. I hate going through and reading things word by word and I get nothing out of it. Actually seeing how things work with diagrams and pictures makes a huge difference! Highly recommended for anyone, whether you're a visual learner or just want to reiterate information from a different perspective.

This book is great at making all things "cardio" understandable. Sometimes the pictures seem a bit much... but the book has been very helpful in understanding this important subject!
