The best way to use this is to have it available, but don't take it all of the time. But the first time you have a tickle at the back of your throat, or hear yourself say "I think I am comming down with something" then take a bunch. Don't wait until you are fully sick, that's too late, it really won't cure you. Take it at the very first sign. The achiness or headache or eyes hurting or whatever usually tips you off that you are coming down with a viral cold or flu. That's when the virus is still vulnerable and monolaurin really, really works.
