If you need great pictures to help you in your search for Care Bear items, then this book is for you. However, some of the pictures are mislabeled and some items are not even shown. As someone else pointed out, the prices seem to be overinflated. If you're just starting out, this book can help you identify stuff. But, there are great collectors out there, some who have their own web pages, who are more than willing to help you out in your search.

I really liked the pictures in this book, it gives you an idea of some of the carbear things out there. I found some mistakes though, such as listing wallpaper as wrapping paper, and other mistakes. Besides that, the value is WAY overpriced, it says that the plush are worth $20 when i can get them from another collector for $3-$5...If you are buying for the pictures then by all means get it, but do not buy it for the price guide and labeling of items.

Good for beginner or experienced collector, the prices are in line with recent auction prices.One drawback is that it doesn't mention theBritish Bears which are very collectible.
