In an odd bit of juxtaposition, the Care Bears have been combined with sets of blow pens to form two toy components that are plenty of fun on their own even though they don't necessarily match up all that well together. Here we meet the orange Friend Bear who has been colored in what's being called a "tie-dye" pattern even though there isn't much in the way of dramatic color variation. Friend Bear comes with a set of multi-colored blow pens, which spray colorful ink on to paper, spray paint style, when breathed into. The ink is not machine washable so extra care should be given when playing with them but the pens are designed so that the ink cannot be accidentally inhaled. Both the stuffed animal and the pens are nice on their own but outside of a vague attachment to bright colors, there appears to be no relationship between them, as even the packaging cautions not to ever blow ink on to the Care Bear.
