5.0 out of 5 stars Simply amazing
Nov 20, 1999 - You cannot go wrong with AVS books. The authors are pioneers in reptiles' and amphibians' husbandry. This book (like any AVS books) is user friendly and contains a lot of practical tips. It's simply the best book about chameleon breeding in the market today.

3.0 out of 5 stars The word here is "BROAD".
To start, this book seemed to be filled with a lot of information at first. Then after a while, I realized that it contained nothing useful to me, because I was looking for very detailed and specific information on Vieled Chameleons and this book only had a broad overview on the physical characteristics, and the care section was 5 pages long. Then after a while, I realized that it contained nothing useful to me, because I was looking for very detailed and specific information on Vieled Chameleons and this book only had a broad overview on the physical characteristics, and the care section was 5 pages long. Not a bad book for a overview. Not a good book for details.

3.0 out of 5 stars my thoughts, October 15, 2001

This review is from: Care & Breeding of Chameleons (Herpetocultural Library, The) (Paperback)
i think that it covered too many species in such a small book it wasnt detailed enough on each species.it would be much better if it had more categories for sections of particular species e.g. feeding your veiled chameleon etc

This book is DOO DOO! I bought it hoping it would tell me how to take care of my newly purchased chameleon and maybe tips on breeding. All it talks about is how they live in the wilderness. LIKE I CARE?!?!
