This review is from: The Care and Feeding of Your Brain: How Diet and Environment Affect What You Think and Feel (Paperback)
I found that this book covered a great deal of information but was presented in way that made it quite simple for the reader to understand. I learned alot of things about the brain that I did not know before and I am a BSN, RN. I found that I could not put the book down. I read it in one evening and it did not feel as if I were reading a text book . Cudos to the author for a concise well written book.

Have had problems with depression for many years and I started therapy recently. This book helped me comprehend the factors that led to and kept me stuck in a rut. Used it with my therapist to help explain the medication options. He is now recommending it to his other patients.

This review is from: The Care and Feeding of Your Brain: How Diet and Environment Affect What You Think and Feel (Paperback)
The writer has halped a lot of people on the internet fibromyalgia newsgroup. I told myself "buy the book", because he helped me and my doctor solve a problem with painful withdrawal symptoms from Paxil. He also made lots of recommendations about natural remedies that worked and what I should not buy and buy. The book he wrote spells out his philosophy and principles of "caring for the brain" really well. It was fun to read it. You will see.
