While each item has its own unique sustainability story, the main focus is the use of high post-consumer recycled paper in efforts to reduce energy, save water and minimize air pollution.

Caremail is packed full of earth-conscious products that use 50-100% post- consumer recovered fiber. Why? Because recycled paper production consumes 65% less energy, uses 80% less water and creates 90% less air pollution than virgin paper production. In addition, the high post-consumer recycled content helps drive refuse out of waste streams and into new products.

Plus, most CareMail items are recyclable and/or biodegradable and many can even be reused. They exceed CPG guidelines (EPA Comprehensive Procurement Guidelines) for using recycled content in the manufacture of new products.

CareMail Mailing and Packing Supplies

Greenwrap - With tissue for surface protection and honeycombed paper for cushioning, Greenwrap packaging offers a plastic-free substitute to bubble cushioning. It's made from renewable resources with over 75% of the fibers sourced from Certified Forests, and its 100% recyclable.

Paper Tape - A high tack hot melt adhesive is combined with a SFI certified kraft paper backing to create Caremail heavy duty, 6.1 mil paper tape. The tape can be used with or without a tape gun as its easily torn by hand.

Custom Wrap Protective Packaging - Custom Wrap protective packaging can be used for both surface protection and void fill. Its non-abrasive surface easily conforms around items.

Packaging Tape - Easy-to-start and heavy-duty, Caremail 2.6 mil packaging tape is the perfect solution for sealing boxes. The serrated edges eliminate the need for a tape gun or disposable plastic dispenser as the tape can easily be torn by hand.

Kraft Paper - From packing and shipping to crafts and book covers, kraft paper is always a good product to have on hand. Whether it's the 60# postal approved weight or the industrial standard 40# weight, Caremail Kraft Paper is made from 100% post-consumer recycled fibers.

Biodegradable Packing Peanuts - These anti-static, lightweight peanuts feature a proprietary shape that offers stronger cushioning, reduced migration and increased stability during shipping. And, they are guaranteed to bypass landfills. If not being reused, these peanuts will dissolve safely in water.

EcoPackaging - EcoPacking, a patented cushion fill, is made of 3-ply kraft strands. During handling, these strands break apart, tripling the volume and increasing the cushioning and shock absorption. EcoPacking offers excellent protection that's static-free, dust-free and hassle-free.

Office Recycling Tips
