This is a wonderful book and a must have for anyone who advises students. Gordan does a wonderful job explaining the importance of career development and how it relates to academic advising.

This book was not rated fairly. The rating was based on Amazon's failure to send the book to the buyer in a timely manner.

I found this book to be outstanding and extremely useful from a practical standpoint. I highly recommend this book for academic advisers as well as career counselors.

Please do not allow ratings for books that reflect service rather than the book itself.

I have ordered from Amazon many times before with no problem at all, but this time I never received the book. I tried to track it because I did receive the shipping confirmation, but it never came. The USPS said that it should have been here on June 4th.
