1. The book is very easy to read (i.e. readable). 2. The book clearly defines the duties & responsiblities of the key players of the publishing (circulation, advertising, finance), editorial (editors, writers), and production (production manager & assistants) sides in magazine publishing.This book is highly recommended not only for those looking for careers in the industry, but also for startup publishing companies that need a clear-cut explanation of what a publisher, editor, copy editor, art director, etc. need to do.
