This review is from: Careers In Private Security: How to Get Started, How to Get Ahead (Paperback)
The book may tell you how to become a security guard but it does not point to available jobs. There are many websites that claim to offer jobs but it often remains difficult. At, http://www.physicalsecuritycrossing.com you can find jobs dealing with this specific career field. At http://www.physicalsecuritycrossing.com/ , they only have jobs from employer websites and offer far more jobs than other job boards.

In writing Careers In Private Security: How To Get Started, How To Get Ahead, Security expert Leigh Wade draws upon his more than 30 years of practical experience and insight in working all manner of armed and unarmed private security positions. Strongly recommended reading crafted to be accessible to the non-specialist general reader, Careers In Private Security surveys a complete spectrum of positions in the security field ranging from the hierarchy of private security jobs beginning with the unarmed fixed-post positions, up through the ranks of armed guards, bouncers, corrections officers, armed couriers, bodyguard, and concluding with the newest positions of field-computer/information security specialists. Careers In Private Security offers reliable advice and instruction on how to find security jobs, what kind of training can be expected, the pros and cons of each type of security position, and what goes on in a typical security employee workday. If you aspire to enter the security job field, or wish to work yourself "up the ranks", then give a careful, considered reading of Leigh Wade's Careers In Private Security.
