Has many dangerous examples!,

I am a big Caillou fan and own many books and also watch the cartoon with my 2 1/2 year old. I just got this book (and "Good Night"-see that reveiw too) and was so disappointed. Besides this book having no solid storyline what-so-ever, it also has Caillou using chairs to climb to high places and has him placing his hand near an open flame to see if it's hot! It may just be my kid, but I know that my son will say and do things that cartoon characters/ book characters do and I don't want him trying either of these things out (especillay the hot flame stuff) when I'm out of the room for 2 seconds! When my son loses interest in this book, I am throwing it out.

A sweet book! My boys love it. So do I! And no, they didn't try to copy Caillou by putting their hands on an open flame!

Too Many Dangerous Examples,
This review is from: Careful (Caillou) (Hardcover)
In addition to the comments in the other review, Caillou's mom lets him go out in the snow with no gloves! AND she watches him place his hand over the open flame. What mother would do that? When he falls off the chair and hurts himself, she says, "Caillou, if you're careful, you won't fall." Great message (note the sarcasm).
