Fun, light reading
I remembered reading these books as a teen and really enjoying them, so I bought the series to read them again. It is just fun, light reading that brings me back to when I was a kid. I think the writing is well done and I enjoy the characters. They seem natural and real without being over dramatic. I would recommend this for teens that want to read a fun series that is...

Not what I had hoped for
When I found this on Amazon, I had to purchase it. I had 3 of the 4 books in the series when I was a tween, and I always wanted the 4th. By the time I got around to reading them all, though, the one I was missing (#2) had already been discontinued. I absolutely adored "Gone With the Witch" (#3), so I always wondered what I was missing in #2. Turns out I wasn't missing...

Turns out I wasn't missing much, lol. This is probably my least favorite book in the series. I love going back as an adult and rereading my old favorites, and in general, I find that I still love them just as much, even if only for the fact of the feelings of nostalgia that they create. Even though this book did give me some flashbacks to my younger days, it is by far the least entertaining book in the series, in my opinion. Oh well!

I liked these books a lot as a kid. As long as you don't get huffy because it's not "real" witchcraft, which you shouldn't because there's no such thing, you'll find it to be a fun, silly teen novel.

The Teen Witch series isn't my cup o tea. There is no truth in it, and focuses the craft as the type of magic that stage performs use. Doesn't intrest me much anymore
