Absolutely Great,

I have difficulty bending over due to severe arthritis in my hips. Putting on socks was very traumatic until I purchased the sock aid. It works like a charm. I put the sock on the sock aid, slip my foot in and voila .... the sock is on.
Before I purchased this aid, I had to allocate 15 extra minutes in the morning to deal with the pain and stress to put on my socks.

Due to hip and knee issues I can't put on socks in the normal fashion. My favorite sock aid became a doggy chew toy when I left it out one day. I'm a big guy with size 13 feet and this product just doesn't cut it for me, It doesn't grip the sock well enough to be pulled on without several tries.
I ended up giving this to my elderly mother and it worked fine for her size 8 feet.

I had hip replacement surgery, and this product was an easy solution for putting on socks. I have a wide foot and wish a product like this were available in several widths. However, a few wiggles of the toes provided an adequate work-around.

I bought this along with the rigid frame Single Ezy to address my limited mobility from a hip problem. The latter device is a little more convenient for home use but the Carex Sock Aid has the advantage of being "suitcase-able". The unit is sufficiently stiff with a velcro-type sulrface to hold onto the sock as it's pulled onto the calf using the pull-strings. Both units cost less than $50 total and eliminate the need to chase down my wife to put my socks on.

A super simple compression sock installation device. Looks like it was built by a drunk with the non-symetrical angles and sewing but it is cheap and it works! Guess thats all you can ask for.

Bought for my 86 year old Mother who has been having trouble with hip and knee and unable to put on her socks. She tried it out with several styles of socks she wears; anklets, calf high hose, knee socks. To remove socks we used long handled shoe horn and also tried long handled grabber

This product is just what I needed. I like that it bends to accommodate a tight neck stocking or sock. Others are too rigid but they are good if you have heavy legs.

I bought this to use after hip replacement surgery. It works so much better than I expected. Surprise--it did pull my sock all the way up, from toe to wherever the top should go on my leg. Only problem was the instructions...not so good...but after a little practice, I got the idea. I was putting the sock on it upside down, then tossing it so the flat side was down. Well, the curve should go down. I have small feet, but am sure it would work well with those large footed persons, too. I highly recommend this to anyone who cannot bend to put socks on.

I haven't worn socks in over a year because, with my arthritis, I couldn't get them on. I have to admit that I was a little skeptical about this, but let me tell ya.........this works likes magic. I love it!!!!!!!!
