Following a stroke, we needed a way for my husband to get into a tub with a shower. We needed it right away. We did some research and found the Carex Exact Level Universal Transfer Bath Bench. Since all of this was new to us we hoped we had made the right selection. We received the Bench very quickly after ordering through Amazon .com. We were nervous the first time my husband had to use the bench but were pleasantly surprised at the ease of use. We could transfer him onto the bench and all he had to do was scooch over and there he was just in the right position to get a refreshing shower. He felt he had done something for himself. As his recovery progressed we found other uses for the bench outside the bath. He would sit on the bench when he would get dressed since it was stable. He had enough room to put the clothes next to him and slowly take each item and get dressed himself. He needed somewhere where I could cut his hair since he could no longer get to a Barber. It worked great. There are handles that can be attached on one side or the other for safety and on one side for transfer. I would highly recommend this bench for anyone who has a mobility problem.

Delivery was surprisingly prompt...3 days from order. Arrived in brand new condition & exactly as described.
