Love these socks, great warmth to cost ratio. Weather or not they keep you warm after 10 hours probably depends on the boots. They are long wearing socks without the itch of wool.

I purchased these socks as a gift for my nephew. He is a college student in a small town in Northern Ohio and it gets very cold there. This is the second purchase I have made for him, as he raves about how well these socks keep his feet warm through the winter. They are well made and very durable - highly recommend.

I've bought dozens and dozens of socks over the last two decades, having lived in the Adirondacks for 15 years, and now far north of Duluth in Minnesota. I spent a great deal of time outdoors in subzero weather -- working, skiing -- and these socks are far, far warmer than anything made by any other company, including Wigwam, REI, EMS, Gander Mountain, etc.

The other reviewer was right, though: if it's more than ten below, best to pair these with a lighter sock.

But you cannot buy a warmer sock.
