What a great combination, lol. Actually, I picked up three of these last year and love them. They're machine washable and I rotate them regularly. When you're a bald guy like me its imperative to have a hat in winter. I just remarked in another review that Carhartt's quality can't be beat and neither can its price. The only thing I'll say about these ones are that the shipping prices appear a bit high, but that may vary. The hat itself is high-grade though.

I work in agriculture and spend a lot of time outside. I've tried different stocking caps and this is without a doubt the top. You can't beat a Carhartt hat.

I had almost forgotten to do a review of the OTHER winter cap I had picked up. This Carhartt acrylic watch cap is outstanding! Not only do they look great, but they are extremely warm and durable. Prior to my purchase, I was a little apprehensive that material might be a little scratchy, but after wearing I can tell you it is not at all. In fact, it is surprisingly soft. Not quite as soft as my MHW fleece beanie, but twice as thick and still plenty soft enough. The cap's thickness adds to its considerable warmth. I have the greyish-blue/cobalt color and it looks handsome. Great winter cap for its price. It will provide your head with superior warmth on the worksite, during snow skiing or any other outdoor activity when it's frigid. I'm very pleased with this hat and I'm sure even the most demanding outdoor enthusiast will be, too.

Great hat, looks good and fits better than any "beanie" I've ever had. Nice navy blue color too. I really like the way this cap looks/feels/fits. One HUGE problem was the seller I purchased this from. Altrec----they ripped me off for $7.95. The "new" hat they sent me still had the tag, but had two huge holes cut out of the top of the hat...WTF? Called them and never got anyone on the phone. Guess I'm just out my money. I'm not going through the whole return process and repay shipping for $7.95, but still very bad business. Took 10 days to recieve this item from Oregon...Ordered a heavier package from NJ it arrived two days later. Slow shipping..they'll say no, but you be the judge. Item 5/5, Altrec seller 1/5.

Delivery was fast but the hat/cap was made for someone with a head shaped like the cone-heads on Saturday Night Live.
I washed the hat in hot water and dried it on a very hot setting to try to shrink it up enough to wear, I did this four times, no luck on shrinking it.
Folding it over is no good, it looks stupid because of so much extra material. There's enough extra material you could make another hat out of it.
The funny thing about all of this is I've got a big head. lol

So should you spot somebody at the airport trying to get on-board a plane wearing one of these, run because he's probably got a bomb under it since there's so much room.

I'm not much of a hat person, but I love this hat. I own a Carhartt jacket and because of how warm it is, I figured this hat would be the same as well. Correct! It gets quite windy where I live but this hat keeps my head warm and happy. It also is good for when there is rain as my head has never gotten wet and you can just wipe off the rain with a paper towel.

At $7, there may be cheaper hats, but I can assure you that you will be satisfied with this product - something that my be hard to say about those cheaper hats. If you are going to buy it and want to wash it, what I suggest is to just rinse the inside and outside with some warm soapy water and just air dry or dry on medium heat in your drying machine.

If you're still contemplating whether to buy this or not, just do it! it's a great hat and great price. Best order yours before the weather gets colder!

Although adequate, it has a tendency to stretch and after a while becomes loose and squirms on the head.

I'd pass on this; it is a very loose weave and is not at all warm in any kind of wind. There are better caps for less money without the Carhartt logo.

Hey, you know, if you are out in the woods or out late at night in town, got a cold head and don't really want to get shot, THIS is the hat for you.
