There are three different weights when it comes to Carhartt pants. These are the lightest but they are still durable. Still big enough for the shoe to go over. Careful when you wash them first. Always wash Carhartt pants inside-out. For the first few washes, wash alone or with very similar colors. Remove from washer and dryer ASAP. I own about 15 pairs of assorted Carhartt pants.

I work outside year round and the summer heat frequently exceeds 105+ degrees. These Carhartt pants are tough enough to hold up to the job site but are lighter weight to be comfortable in the warmer weather. Lots of pockets for tools, fasteners, etc and they are still respectable enough to wear on a day off with out looking like a hobo.

Just received the Dark Olive B151....they are great. However, 35" waist fits more like 34's....but I love these pants....and now have every color...I wear them to work where I teach school and these are great..very comfortable with lots of pockets.

These are great warm weather pants for working, but stylish enough (according to the girlfriend) to wear casually. They're thinner than what you may be used to from Carhartt, but I've never felt the strength or durability was in any way comprimised. And, they fit great, the cut is very, very comfortable.

Good durable pair of pants. I had to pick one size above my usual jean pant size. The canvas feel can feel rough at first, but washing and wearing can undo that feeling. Many pockets on each side makes it less fashionable for business or professional look. Otherwise, very good for wearing outdoors.

I'm a motorcycle mechanic, and I use these pants every day. They're not as thick as the other Carhartt stuff, but I always felt the thicker material was too heavy and stiff. These are perfect. I'm 5'7" 160 lbs, athletic build, and the 31X30 fits great. They look good too.

These are my favorite pants, hands down. Carhartt quality and durability with a lighter-weight fabric, good enough for 9 months of the year in PA. They fit me like they're tailored, have perfectly designed and placed pockets, and they're just plain comfortable. I have them in 4 colors, and wear them at least 3 days a week. The best part is, Carhartt establishes a model number, then sticks to it. The B151 pants I have from 3 years ago are identical to the ones I just bought. So when they eventually wear out, or I just want another pair, I can order with confidence that they'll fit and I'll be a happy camper.

One side note: there's a loop on the right side that *perfectly* fits a Gerber Paraframe I, my every day carry knife (Gerber 22-48445 Paraframe I Serrated-Edge Knife), which I also highly recommend.

If you have to wear pants in the summer these will do the job. I wore these in 90 degree weather and I was as comfortable as could be expected.
The seams on these pants are clearly more durable than any jeans I own. The fabric is lightweight but still durable.
I feel like the length might be a little long but they aren't dragging on the ground. I would probably order one inch shorter next time if available but it isn't a serious issue. Other than that they fit perfectly. Not too baggy. Not too tight. They also look stylish.
I have been beating the heck out of these pants as a landscaper and they are holding up just fine. I will be ordering more soon.

My husband already has 2 pairs of these in the khaki color. I found these on Amazon for cheaper than the store price. They are exactly what I wanted to get for him and I like that there were so many colors to choose from.

Very relieve to find a product from a heretofore unknown manufacturer working out so well. "Roomy comfort" indeed. I would buy from Carhartt again, and in fact have another pantload saved
for later.
