I really do love these gloves. Perfect for outdoor work in the winter. I mostly use them for chain sawing, moving branches, chopping and collecting firewood. They are extremely durable(chain saw kicked back and got me on the hand, but didn't penetrate or even tear the glove!), are pretty nimble at the fingertips, and cuffs that can go over any size jacket sleeve and cinch tight. My one and only issue I came across on these gloves would be the insulation at the finger tips... If it's below 20 degrees I can barely last 10min snow blowing, the rest of my hand stays nice n' toasty, but my finger tips literally feel like they will fall off. Granted, most gloves do not protect your finger tips as well as the rest of your hand, but I just found it really pronounced in these gloves in relation to how insulated the rest of the glove is. Overall, this is one tough, solid glove that should not be overlooked and as long as you're not exposing the finger tips while keeping them sedentary(ie snow blowing) you should be really happy with these!

These are excellent gloves I usually wear a 11 and purchased the xxl and can fit a skin liner inside plus they are comfortable . Very well insulated and warm for Michigan winters with a liner can use in peak winter . Best Gloves I have purchased and I bought the best Cabella's had to offer last year which were deer skin gore tex and these are built just as nice but with fake fabrics . Have a wrist strap plus draw string closures to fit and seal in warm air . At under $10 for august clearance I quickly ordered another pair plus I bought their gore tex glove which will be great for spring/fall . Hoping to winter bike this year and use these inside a set of bar mits . If you did not want to use a liner xl would be ok if your a 11 . They have liners on sale for $4 now too . These are a great compliment to my artic jacket .

My husband uses these for work. He works outside all day long in Minnesota in the winter and he likes these.

I ordered these in XX-Large, so that I could use them with the Seirus Mens glove liners. I have bad circulation in my fingers, so I need extra protection in cold weather. Others may not need this. I just got these, and I only do light work in them, such as clearing snow off the car and driveway. These gloves performed better than average without the glove liners, while shoveling snow. I was able to stay out for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, my fingers were cool but not cold. I found that teaming the glove liners with these gloves provided the warmth I needed when the temperatures were in the mid 20's. The gloves will seem thick around your fingers, so do not expect to be able to turn the pages of a book or other things that require finer movements and grip. I will post an update after a few months, or if they fall apart.

bought 4 pairs for my guys in the warehouse. We work in un-heated warehouses on the East River in Brooklyn, NY, so we know what cold and wind are. this is the 3rd time in 10 years I purchased this glove for the guys and they still love them!! amazon has the best price and delivery time on the net!!!!

Up here in Minnesota we've had a very rough winter. I originally had snowmobile gloves thinking they'd keep my hands warm. I was wrong. I even got some low temp mittens, they didn't keep my hands warm when it got more than -30. These so far have kept my hands nice and warm up to -15, haven't had much lower than that since I got them. They are also very easy to do work outside in, not as clumsy as most gloves.

Chose these gloves after reading reviews on many gloves out there. Headed to the frigid ND oil fields. Outside in -28 degrees for 7 hours straight for my first time to wear them and never once felt cold. These gloves aren't for fishing out keys from a pocket or small tools from the tray but handling the tool once you get it.....it's outstanding. No air gap at the wrist and my hands never got wet in all the snow. Hands were always warm! You'll want to take them off when you get in from the cold or you'll overheat. There is extra insulation at the finger tips but the inside of the extra large fit my hand perfectly and it's the size I expected. I'd highly recommend these for anyone outside in extreme cold conditions. The Carhartt performance that you expect.

Inspected every seam, found no flaws. Very "thick" around your fingers, they look wonderful and feel great. I am very encouraged that these gloves will work well when cold weather actually gets here in Michigan. The design seems well thought out. I am pretty impressed and glad I chose this article.

I had high hopes for these based on my indestructable Carhartt jackets but they're not great. The elastic cinches at the ends of the gauntlets are poorly designed and so long they were catching on everything so I tied them off, cut them and threw the excess out. The gloves are lined with a material that's prickly against dry skin. The outsides of the glove part are well put together but I don't think these are worth the investment when every discount store in the world has decent similar gloves for $20 or so. Sorry Carhartt!
