I've worn out my old pair after years of winter use and have just ordered a new pair (oh, um....a size bigger waist! - oh well)
Very comfortable and, while not as warm as fleece or thinsulite, the flanned makes these jeans my Linus blanket.

Look cool too. Like everything else these days, made in China...Norman Rockwell roll over!

My husband wears a 38 and I got these in a 40 due to the flannel lining. They are great, and he really appreciates the warm flannel lining. Carhartts fit similar to Levi's 505's. Actually they are the only brand other than Levi's which my husband has found to fit well, so we were pleased to be able to get these with the flannel lining.

Seriously, If you've never worn jeans that feel like soft pajama pants and keep your legs constantly warm, even in the cold Michigan winters, then you have no clue what comfort is.

These Carhartt jeans are the best there is, especially working out in sub zero weather. Made well and last long.

I like these, they are comfortable, but for those cold Denver morning walking the dogs, I like the polyester-lined Carhartt ones much better as they are significantly warmer for me. I only wear them for about an hour to walk the dogs, then take them off, shower, and put on other clothes for my office work. If I had to wear them all day, indoors and out, I might like these better as they do seem to breathe better.

I live @ 9600 ft so often wear lined pants. These are one of the most sturdy feeling pair I've bought. I always buy 32/32 in all brands and these fit well. They are a little loose around the legs and ankles compared to some other brands. I had to wash them with a little bleach to get rid of the brand new look.
I would recommend these pant.

Jeans are true to size and provide that extra layer of warmth so necessary for guys who work outside. I did think the flannel was going to be fluffier, but then I guess it would be uncomfortable to work in. Anyways, my boyfriend, who is an electrician and has to work in unheated houses sometimes, loves them.

My son has been looking for this but Carhartt store nearby did not have it in yet. (Checked store 8/30/2014) I found it on Amazon and ordered it for less than what I would have paid retail. He needs something to keep warm in cold drizzle filled wet winter months of Pacific NW. I might order another one, I must let you know this pant leg is quite a bit wider than the traditional fit. It looked too wide on my son but he loved it so much I will keep them.

Heavyweight denim and a lining warm enough to stay warm but not so heavy to get overly hot when active such as on the jobsite. The production quality is second to none and as jeans currently go (Levis today are not the Levis of yesteryear), you simply cannot find a better pair anywhere.

Wore these outside when it was -25 degrees not factoring windchill which made it -37. Size was a little tight I think it was due to the extra lining but was still able to wear them. Also wore them while snow machining and they kept me warm.
