5.0 out of 5 stars Great Quality
This is a great quality product. It is exactly what I have come to expect from a Carhart product. I would also recomend that when you order them that you get them one size bigger then you normaly buy pants. Other then that great product.

2.0 out of 5 stars NOT U.S.A. MADE!
I thought it was made in the U.S.A.. Material manufactured in the U.S. but "assembled in Mexico". This is NOT made in the United States of America.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Quality Bibs, October 30, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
These are, as the other reviewers stated, a great quality product. I do order a size or two bigger for my husband as he of course wears them over his other clothes at work (for 36 or 38 inch waist jeans I buy 40 inch waist bibs). Seems they fit just right then. Keep the size adjustment in mind when ordering and you should have a great, long lasting, quality pair of bibs.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great price, be sure to size up, December 13, 2010
My husband got his first pair of Carhartt overalls last year and they are great, very durable for working outdoors in cool weather. They do shrink up A LOT so, even though his old pair still had lots of life left in them they were way too short so I ordered a new pair. The price on Amazon is a significant savings from what could be found at local stores. I ordered one size up in the waist and TWO sizes up in length (as compared to his regular jeans size). At first they were huge but after about half a dozen washes, they fit perfectly. I just ordered a second pair.

5.0 out of 5 stars 2 Sizes Over, October 7, 2010
If you look at the sizing suggestions for most brands of overalls they usually suggest buying 2 sizes (4 inches) in the waist over your normal size. Not only are they sometimes worn over street clothes but overalls are not meant to fit snug in the waist. Add that to the fact that as they age, many men like myself, increase in girth above the waist and you'll see another part of the problem some folks are reporting. ;-) Overalls are meant to fit loose. Keep that in mind and these will last you many years. They're much tougher than any denim overalls and will last many times longer.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing quality but they shrink big time, June 15, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Can't go wrong with Carhartt
make sure when you buy them you know they shrink up to at least one size
other than that they keep going even when you can't
I got black and brown and they're both nice
no regrets especially at this price
they are twice as much in store

5.0 out of 5 stars Tentatively awesome, March 2, 2011

I wear Levi's and Lee jean size 36x34. Based on the advice from this site I ordered 38x34. I immediately washed them in hot water and threw them in the dryer for an hour. They shrank somewhat to fit me just about perfectly. My last overalls (Lee) lasted about 12 years of irregular weekend warrior use in backyard landscaping and household chores. These things feel bullet proof. They look awesome (especially in black, my favorite color). I'm sure they'll last longer than my Lees, but only time will tell. I'll update this review by removing stars if they don't hold up as long as my Lees did.

Comfort, durability, perfect fit and made in AMERICA! But I still don't know what the loop on the back pocket is for. Don't know if I will be here in 10 years but I am sure these Carhartt's will be!

5.0 out of 5 stars Once again Carhartt fits the big guy, January 19, 2012
I have mentioned before that my 6'4'' 280 pound frame is unthinkable by modern clothing designers. To them, you are either short and fat or tall and skinny. Carhartt makes clothes for the working man and a pair of 42/34 fits me perfect

5.0 out of 5 stars Very comfortable bibs, January 5, 2012
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
These bibs tend to run one size smaller in the waist dimension, went up from 44 to 46 - 32 is still good for length on all bibs/pants I buy.I'm 6 ' 240 lb.I really like the elastic straps super comfortable .Only feature I would ask for would be pencil pocket, usually have paint marker - carpenter pencil when wearing these bibs .Duck material is so durable - wear these welding - framing - truck repairs .SOOO comfortable .Summer time I hang them up til cooler weather.
