Knowing that Carhartt clothing tend to be heavy duty, I decided to get these pants for use in winter when it snows. I do a lot of walking and work outdoors and needed a strong, breathable waterproof pant that I could easily put on over my jeans. These work perfect for that. They kept me warm and dry without overheating.

My husband works outside in very cold weather...he believes in Carhartt. He wore these all winter...and he will be wearing them all next winter! They held up great! Highly Recommend these.

My husband has the jacket and the gear is outstanding. The gear provided by his company is useless. With Carhartt's waterproof pants and jacket, he's working without the elements of the weather even noticed.

I got these to use for snowboarding & so far they have worked great. The fabric, stitching,& hardware are all heavy duty (as you would expect from carhart). I had to order a large to get a tall size (why aren't tall's available in medium?) with my 32" waist I have to wear suspenders to keep them up & I have room to wear many layers under them. There is no fly zipper so you have to unzip the side (I just pull them down as the waist of mine is oversized) for nature calls.

What bad can anyone say about Carhartt?

These pants measure up to the reputation.

I have had a duck jacket for years, and it has a decade left in it no question.

I expect the same from these pants. They are dry and tough as can be.

Terrific for the task at hand, at sea, or in the foul weather on foot. Done it all.

These are my new best friend starting this Autumn.
