This review is from: Carhartt Women's Steel Toe Work Boot (Apparel)
I purchased these because they were one of the few models to offer size D width. (I've reached the bunion years.) I've had them nearly 8-9 months now. They're surprisingly light and flexible, but don't expect them to feel like sneakers. This is a serious boot. There's only one grommet to do up and release, so getting into and out of them is easy. You've really got to crank on the laces to give your ankles support, though. And the laces do slip a little if you don't use an idiot knot. I sprayed these with a silicone spray, and they've held up well, but I've avoided walking through standing water deeper than the soles. I've had intermittent plantar fasciitis, but get good relief as soon as I put these on. To make them 5-star, they'd need to be waterproof with more ankle support and less slip to the laces.
