An instrumental Christmas album that is very nicely done. What makes this different is that it is done in a caribbean style with steel drums and all. While I'm not a big fan of steel drums, it works very nicely with a Christmas album. If you want something different to play during the Christmas season, this is it.

Another good one from this founding-member of AMERICA! His fans should be well-pleased with this slightly different opening of the holiday season. All selections are spirited and uplifting. Particularly enjoyed "The Star" which was written by the artist and the old standard "Mary's Boy Child".

I was skeptical when I saw this album and delayed getting it for over a year. But it is actually a very good Christmas album! It is all instrumental and features steel drums. I have never been a big fan of steel drums, but it really seems to work on this album. It gives old Christmas standards a new twist. Very good, I highly recommend it!

I bought this cd from Dan Peek's website, [...]. It was part of a three pack of Dan's cds. It came with "Bodden Town" and "Driftin". I paid $15 plus shipping for theses three cds. So if you are interested you
can pick up three of Dan's cds for a very nice price. The albums have simple colorful drawings, the kind a child might draw, that make up the inserts. "Driftin" has a picture of Dan and his wife Catherine. Catherine and Dan have been together since the 70's and back when Dan was in America. As for the cd, I play it quite a bit. The cd
makes you think of Christmas and Christian things when perhaps it is only May. The steel drums and acoustic
guitars work quite well. You can't go wrong with this cd. There are many interesting takes on some Chritmas
songs that you know quite well. This cd is very comforting, pleasant and soothing. Thanks for the Music Dan!! :)
