A Taste of Calypso/Soca/Reggae and all in between,

"A Customer" Obviously doesn't understand that the point of the CD is to expose the listener to all types of caribbean music. There's Soca, Reggae, Quadrille, Steel Pan, Calypso and even some soul/religious tones.
The CD exposes you to soca, reggae, and calypso. If it were one kind of music all the way through what would you learn? Not much. If you are interested in learning more about what caribbean people listen to, this is perfect because it's like a sample CD. My family is from Trinidad and St Croix, and we all love this CD. I highly recommend it.

This album does not know what it wants to be. Many of the songs are lame, and at least 2 are really stupid covers of disco songs. It gets messy, and never stops. Don't waste your money, there are so many other titles out there...try the Soca Gold series.
