Do you want to relax and just take your mind off things,then just listen to this CD, It will just blow you away,GUARANTEED--you will get addicted,you won't regret it,just make sure you have a good STEREO,Otherwise you won't hear those reverberating sounds of those steel drums--this CD Deserves TEN STARS PLUS----

This disc is a lot of fun, and a bit of a lark. Is it serious music? No -- but you're not buying it for seriousness! It's maybe a bit more background music than I'd like, but it certainly whisks you away and sets a fun mood. The song selection is a hoot -- everything from what you'd expect to covers of the Gypsy Kings. The musicianship is top-notch, and the one-man-band approach doesn't provide much spark, but it's also not a detriment.

My wife & I enjoy cruises & the tropical steel drum music that goes with the cruises. These cd's take us back when we are on vacation, very enjoyable.

This CD was very interesting and enjoyable to listen. I would not have found it locally, but was able to purchase it on Amazon with little effort. The sounds of the steel drums brought back many Caribbean memories.

I would like to take this opportunity to say that this cd is a very good, well written and performed cd. I would recomend this cd to everyone. You feel like you are in the Carribean. I have been to alot of the carribean islands and this cd brings the carribean right in to your home. The carribean offers alot of different feelings. There is romance in the air and lots of fun. I made the mistake to not buy this cd in the carribean when I was there last week, but when i bought this cd earlier this week i felt like i was back in the carribean. It brings all of the moods that the carribean offers. In conclusion, I recomend this cd to everyone!

This is a great cd if you love steel drums! I always relax and imagine I am on vacation either lounging in the sun with a fruity drink or dancing to the rhythm when I listen to this music. The variation of songs is fantastic-a great cd overall.

Is this beginning steel drum? Where's the passion, soul and sophistication of blood stirring steel drum? This is steel drum elevator music.

Some very nice songs and beautiful sounds. Music is basically very nice but the background steel drum (drums?) seem to wander around. Instead of harmony or counterpoint, quite often it just sounds like some kind of improvisation that just muddies up the beauty of the musical performance. Not really exciting party type music but some good music.

Having been on a caribbean cruise recently I wanted some calypso drums music to listen too at home and had a hard time picking from all that was available. I do believe I picked the best one. Beautiful sound!!
