I don't usually listen to Peruvian music but a friend lent me Olga Milla's CD and I loved it. The music is very soothing, deep and soulful. I would recommend this CD to anyone!

A mùsica peruana interpretada com a voz da OLGA MILLA è sem dùvida alguma encantadora,ela tem charme,as melodias viajam no tempo,atravès da reflexao nas cadencias,nos estilos pouco conhecidos da mùsica peruana,merece ser divulgada nao so' nos paìses de lingua espanhola,mas tambèm no mundo todo...Gostamos muito do seu trabalho,Continue,VALEU!!!! I am very impressed by the quality and artistic taste involved in this CD. Olga has an excellent voice which brings out the essence of Peru. The sound of the guitar and the charango takes you right to the festive Lima and the sweet and tender tones of the Andean music. I really enjoyed this CD. Bravo!! Olga and your group of excellent musicians. I am looking forward to your next CD. Gracias

It's worth pointing out that she was able to assemble a great team of musicians: Edmundo Vargas, Pepe Diaz, Jose Luna, Carlos Valdivia, Carlos Hayre, and Jaime Guardia.

Originally produced in 1996 by Olga Milla, recorded Lima, Peru, and Westfield, NJ.

A very good selection of the songs. The singer is very talented and has a great voice. The musicians are among the best in that kind of music, this production must have a predominant place in the peruvian coast music.

Olga Milla has an excellent voice and she has chosen a great collection of Peruvian music. The arrangements and instrumentation are first rate. One of my favorite songs is Aguacerito Cordillerano which also has a great charango solo. I also like Todos Vuelven because of the feelings that are expressed in the interpretation by Olga Milla. All the songs contained in this CD are excellent and they offer a window into Peruvian culture and music. I cannot wait for the next recording by Olga Milla!

Is not easy to open gates and introduce unknown popular music from Peru, but I must admit that this work was done with tender love and care and it doesn't matter how much you know about Peru, this music will tour you around the colors and the true musical expressions of Peru.

This production is played with few instruments and a the melodical voice of Olga Milla, the combination and respect between the artists that participated in this production is definitely worth to listen.

Between the cords of an acoustic guitar and the sounds of the "Cajon" (Box played with hands with an beautiful pseudo-african drum sound),the crispy sound of the cucharas (just 2 spoons delivering percussion)this CD will transport you from the coast line through the regions of the mountains, where the sound of the "Charango" ( very small guitar with a very peculiar sound) will surprise your senses. The repertoire chosen by Olga Milla includes great song writers and composers and also the magical work of Chabuca Granda .

I am very pround to listen to work made by people from my country with this impecable quality.
