We have had this for about a year, and it is rarely played with and it's frustrating to my daughter when she does use it. Usually, the side of the camper that swings open falls off almost immediately and since she can't put it back together herself it just sits. She loves her dollhouse, and plays with it a lot, but this just takes up space. In order to open it up, you have to carefully swing the side out straight and then flip down a support under the side to stand it up. It's hard to close back up, so if she opened it without the side falling off, it will come apart when she tries to close it. My 3 year old doesn't really want to have to fuss with anything so much. She also has trouble getting the people into the front seat to drive. Not the best design. It is huge, and cheaply made- I really wish it wasn't always falling apart. Try to find something else to drive your dolls around in (would they fit in the loving family car?).

That stupid door!,

If it wasn't for that stupid door this would be a great toy! It is so cute, and my daughter wanted it so much! If the door would stay on she would play with it all the time. The only reason it's still in my house is because I keep hoping I will figure out a way to make it stay on!
Until the comany fixes this problem I would stay away from this toy. Also, as mentioned by at least one other person, it doesn't come with any people! You would think for the price they could include at least one! I got mine as a combo with the house, which is adorable and comes with peoople!

First of all, this doesn't even come with 1 person to play with in it. We didn't have any other Caring Corners stuff, so this wasn't really fun for my daughters. I didn't have the $12 to buy 1 person, and I certainly didn't have the money it would take to acquire a whole family worth. The door to this also falls off constantly and is hard to put back on.

This van is adorable! It's bigger than it looks in the picture. Very colorful! Great gift for my 4 year old Granddaughter.

We purchased this toy for my daughter's 5th birthday last January. She absolutely loves this toy, and I love the concept of all of the Caring Corner toys. But she gets frustrated because the swing open part constantly falls off. Since she can't fix it herself, she always has to interrupt her playing to get me to fix it. I've read the other reviews and almost all of them have the same complaint. I called Learning Curve, and their customer care department said that mine was the first call to them to complain of this problem! The person I spoke with was very nice and accomodating, but since they didn't know about this problem, there is no solution at this time. So, parents, get on the phone to let them know what is happening with your toys! If nobody lets the company know, then they won't know they have to fix it! The number is 1-800-704-8697.

My daughter received this as a christmas gift about a month ago. The batteries were dead on arrival, and I have replaced them two times since (it's only the 3rd week in January). For a gift with an eco friendly theme, I'm surprised the batteries need to be changed every other week, with moderate use. Also, side of the door falls off pretty much every time the toy is opened or closed, and when appropriate sized dolls are used with the door. The slide is poorly designed, and will not stay in place, so we threw ours away. As a parent, I'm really disappointed in the toy, and look forward to the day my daughter gets sick of it so we can get rid of it. However, my 3 year old loves it and asks to play with it constantly. (And frequently asks for the door to be put back on, and to have the batteries replaced.)
I'm glad I didn't pay for it.

My 5 year old daughter has the Mrs. Goodbee house and several of it's accessories and begged and begged for the camper for Christmas. She of course got it and plays with it nonstop. The only problem we have with it is that the door does fall off the hidges WAY too easily. If she even slightly extends the door too far it's popping off and she's yelling for me to fix it. If it weren't for contantly popping that door back on I think it would be a really great toy.

I just purchased this for my friend's granddaughter. The child was thoroughly delighted with this camper. It's bright, cheery and inviting. The interactivity along with the figures (that needed to be purchased separately if desired) really fosters imaginative play.

This camper is a nice play toy. My daughter loves it. I have to buy her some Caring Corner people to play with.

I bought this toy for my 3yr old daughter after hearing great things about it. First of all for the quality of the toy, it was pricey. For the $40 price tag, it didn't even come with the family that it is advertised with. The picture of the bus on the instruction manual is different than the actual bus, so I had no idea where to put all the sticker it came with. The toy is so poorly made that the piece of the bus that unfolds is constantly popping out and it is too difficult for a child to fix. The attachable slide does not stay on at all, which is a constant source of frustration for my daughter. The bus only says 2 or 3 phrases, so I really don't understand why this is being touted as an educational toy. Don't waste your money. If my daughter hadn't ripped the box trying to open it I would return it.
