This review is from: Carl Fischer Guitar Grimoire - The Fingerpicking Book
This book gives you a few different patterns you can use for fingerpicking, as well as the guitar grimoire's usual explanation of music theory at the beginning which I still can't understand. All I see is a bunch of tables and numbers. There are only a few different fingerpicking patterns presented, and then only two ways to finger pick a scale. Then as usual, he repeats these two patterns for many, many pages. Even though the only thing that changes is the fret position. It's no wonder that this is the least popular guitar grimoire. It doesnt really teach you anything and it's still expensive. I would recommend instead Mark Hanson's Beyond Basics fingerstyle guitar.
