Although his background may be common to many; rout with challenges, insurmountable odds and riddled with inexplicable incidences, he is living an uncommon life. All due to the benefits of his extraordinary gifts, unmitigated competency and tenacious ambition. Terrell Carter has more to his credit than most have within the life of an entire career. After being noticed while singing at church in Detroit, gospel great Fred Hammond auditioned him and seamlessly Carter found himself working with Hammond and later with a host of others. His diverse style and keen instinct lead him to contribute with artist like Quincy Jones, Tamia, Oleta Adams, Deborah Cox, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Simply Red, P. Diddy, Tevin Campbell, and KC & JoJo. I first heard Terrell Carter sing about 10 years ago with Fred Hammond. His voice caught my ear and I have been a fan every since then. Not only is he good looking but he can sing as well. There is not another voice out today that can compare to his. If you liked him in Meet the Browns and Medea's Class Reunion,then you will love this cd.

Terrell Carter caught my ear as well as my eye in "Diary of a Mad Black Woman". I am without words when it comes to describing this rare talent. In a world where a large percentage are tone deaf, it's hard for the "true talents" to surface. This album is real. The track titled "Better Than" is unlike any other. I simply loved this album.

If you dont know this man has a voice like none other. "Thinking about you" is my favorite along with "Thick Girls". I would love to see a collaboration with he and Tank, two brothers with definete skills and extremely easy on the eyes. Just creamy chocolate!!!!!!!!!!!!!
