This is a dazzlng performance by Carlo Curley, mostly featuring Christmas music. The recording was made on the Austin-Allen at LaGrave Christian Reformed Church in Grand Rapids, Michigan, which Mr. Curley characterized as one of North America's truly great instruments. The recording includes works by J.S. Bach, and Reger's Fantasy on "How Brightly Shines." The recording also includes memorable transcriptions of orchestral works, like Tchaikovsky's "Dance of the Sugar-Plum Fairy" and Sibelius's "Finlandia." Highly recommended for people who enjoy hearing Carlo Curley.
