I was in the market for a new watch and wanted something that was classic, with a little twist. I liked the idea of something metal, and larger than normal (but not too big, since I have a small wrist). This watch has a nice, clean design and is suitable for the office, but also can be dressed up or down. I chose the blue face, since it offers a little pop of color, and the second hand is a fun turquoise color making it unique (the watch equivalent of a mullet: all business in the front, party in the back). I did have to take it to a jeweler to remove a few links, but I have to do that with every watch I've ever bought, so no biggie. I've gotten several compliments on it, and believe it will hold up nicely through the years. It's also a good value, given it's a Nixon. Looks more expensive than it was.
