Relaxing, tranquil and great for background, December 17, 1998

Sometimes the neighbors to my apartmemt are too loud or the street noise is just a little too loud or the water in the pipes is just noisey enough so that I can't sleep. That's when I put CARMEL BY THE SEA on and set it to "disc repeat" I can fall asleep to it and not hear those annoying background noises that keep me awake. It's also just pleasant if I am working or reading and just want something pleasant in the background. The only think I don't like about it is the seagull sounds are a little too loud. Otherwise I highly recommend it.

Fantastic natural recording of the beaches in Carmel. This is my absolute favorite cd to listen to for my slumbertime. I like to have a low sound going on at night sometimes that is very calming & relaxing.
