It's a shame that amazon mixes the ratings for all the other Carmen Electra DVDs with this one. It takes a little time to filter through them all to find which ones are for this particular DVD, which is a pretty terrible routine. I couldn't even finish it...boring moves, lots of lag time that wasn't edited out...just Carmen waiting for the music to start. And she wasn't really engaging. It was horrible as a workout; I probably could've walked in place and gotten a better workout. I like the first set, cause it is new and fun, but this follow up is kinda pointless.

I brought this video based off of the rating. What a mistake. Please read the negative reviews first so you can save your money.
This was ridiculous. I am pretty sure Carmen is a nice person and a great dancer but she is a bad instructor. If you want to buy this dvd for a great workout are a new routine, please be prepared to rewind rewind rewind each portion of the routine. Also she had too many steps within each portion. And the worst part of this video is the end. Once you spent however many hours learning the routine, she shows you the last part then says "lets take it from the beginning". Then it goes to a club scene. The routine becomes all about her and forgets that it is an instructional video. I was dumb founded. Such a waste of my MONEY.

This is a great, fun video. Each new peice is done a few times, first by description, then count, then to music, and then the whole dance up to that part is repeated. It's a great way to learn the dance, and Carmen is a wonderful instructor.

For the beginer, it is slow enough that you can catch the moves fairly quickly, and for someone who's done it alot... they'll enjoy the slow down of "new" moves! The repition also keeps you in check, so that you don't get sloppy. You're always re-learning how to do it correctly.

I bought the dvd thinking I could tone it down if it was too racy, but it's actually a lot cleaner than most of the stuff you see in clubs. In fact my mom watched it with me!

If you come from a belly dancing background you'll see some familiar moves. And the great thing is it's worth 4 activity points on the weight watchers diet!

Just wanted to give people a heads-up since I found this out a little late.

I bought this DVD along with the In the Bedroom DVD for $26 (free super saver shipping) from amazon because it was cheaper than buying from Carmen Electra's site (high shipping fees).

They came in the mail yesterday, but I had gone to Target for some other things and happened to notice that Target has an "exclusive" pack of the 2 DVDs together for only $19.99. So it would have been cheaper (and faster) to buy them both at Target.

Have not opened the DVDs yet to review them, but hopefully this helps some of you save a few bucks.

I am really disappointed in this video. I have the original striptease videos of Carmen's and I love them so I was so excited when I saw the advertisement for two new videos. I immediately bought them. This is sooooooooo not like the other videos. There is no warm-up (didn't Carmen say in the very first video how critical a good warm-up is to a dancer?) and it is very, very fast paced. I could not keep up. She gives a lot of moves at one time, you do it once or twice, and then on two the next segment. Some of the moves can be confusing and she does not slow down to show you how to do them. The final run through of the dance was a joke. I still did not have all the moves down, but I could not follow her because the video was just close ups of Carmen's body parts, no full body shots! I think if the video was longer, included a warm-up and if Carmen would slow down with her instruction, it would be really fun like her other videos. The routine is really cute, but I think most people will find the video is too fast paced.

When I heard that Carmen Electra was taking the aerobic striptease series to "the city that's famous for the Strip in more ways than one" I thought it sounded like a great idea but was concerned that it might be too much glitz and glamor and not enough substance, or even be too "strippery".
In fact the DVD is pretty tasteful. The main routine is dance-based, designed to be done either at home by yourself or out in a club and it's really good! It's significantly different from the routines in the first DVD while remaining true to the spirit of the series - this time I she worked with her choreographer from her days with Prince rather than the Pussy Cat Dolls so you can see the change in style. I love it.

This DVD is missing a lot of the nice features that the original series had, like the option of switching between the types of music or programming a workout. This DVD is also missing the warm-up excercise. The way the DVD was created, they go through the moves very quickly. Also, the final dance is more for a man to watch then for a woman to learn. Many of the camera shots are "head shots" and not of the whole body. You can not see the moves they are executing. Oh, if you didn't know, it's definitely not the same choregrapher from the PussyCat Dolls. The steps seem harder but the dance is longer.

It sucked. Plain and simple.

I was so excited when I found out that there was going to be a new strip dvd out. I even researched it: I saw videos on YouTube, reviewed other customer reviews and after I saw what everyone thought, I was very disappointed with what I got.

The counts are stupid and they are backwards (she goes to her left and her right instead of going to the viewer's right and left and makes things very confusing), and it's way to fast to follow. I'm a dancer and I knew what I was doing, but to others who tried to do it with me, they couldn't catch it.

Don't get it. It's not good.

This was one sorry little dance routine repeated over and over again. Between takes, the editor didn't bother to take out the parts where Carmen was just bouncing weakly, waiting for the music to start.

I expected a little more from electra but the workout is fun and makes you feel sexy. the quality isnt the best, looks like the editor didnt care too much but it is a workout none the less. the dance is fun and maybe something to show off once you get it down
