You'll be sorry if you purchase this CD.While the orchestra is perfect, and the singers are also perfect, this CD sounds like it was recorded with only one (1) microphone. And that microphone was in the middle of the orchestra. Which means that every time the singers come on, you have to turn the volume up to hear them, and when the orchestra comes back on, it blasts you. And since this is a vocal driven opera, this CD is horrible. Suggest you spend your money on a well recorded version of this opera.

Ever since I first saw the movie "Excalibur" I have loved the track from the start of Carmin Burina, yearned to know who made such lovely music and wanted to have a copy of it. I have searched for years to find the composer and the name of this track. There are just some tunes which stand the hair on the back of your neck up, and this is one of them: O, Furtuna by Carl Orff...
