About the Author

In his newspaper career, Rockie Blunt garnered 35 local, state and national journalism awards and retired as dean of New England police reporters. He is the author of Inside the Battle of the Bulge: A Private Comes of Age and Foot Soldier: A Combat Infantryman’s War in Europe. He is the recipient of the Purple Heart; the Bronze Star for valor; and the Combat Infantry Badge. A former pilot, underwater cinematographer, jazz drummer and college lecturer, Rockie lives in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts.
