Two five stars and one 3 stars stories in this collection,

Two of the short stories in this collection of romantica (romantic erotica) were tops. All are contemporary settings told from the first person view of the heroine. The first, a tale of a twin who pretends to be her sister to get close to the man she thinks she could never have, and the last, a widow who can't get over the anger and lust she feels towards her dead husband's partner, are two romance stories which hit all the right notes of emotion, sex and a good paced plot. But the hero in the middle story was such a jerk it rated much lower. In total, I couldn't rate this a 5 but I'd highly recommend it for the other two stories alone. This is some of the best erotic writing for women, by women and told from a woman's point of view. |
