The NYC superrockvixens (you know them as BETTY)claw their way back onto the scene with their new release "Carnival". Brilliantly themed release takes you into the heart of all that is BETTY; girl power, yearning, dreams and pill popping. Who else has the ability to pull off French rap, jungle rhythms, humor, spoken word and balls to the wall rock with such aplomb? BETTY, natch. If you already know and love BETTY you'll be thrilled. If you're a BETTY virgin, prepare for a long heavy romance... See them live if you get a chance!

I saw the fabulous band in concert about a year ago in New York and was quite impressed. They convey such soul and depth yet are wild and outrageous. It comes through in their music and I believe Carnival is a testiment to their extraordinary style. They are refreshing and powerful. Good music! Hope to see more!
