I'm glad I purchased this game because of the value. We wanted to add the Motion Plus controllers to our system, and it's a great deal to be able to get the Motion Plus attachment and a new game for just a little more than it costs to purchase the controller by itself.

I own the original Carnival games and really enjoy playing it. It's unique and had many fun mini-games. The "New Carnival Games" also has many fun mini-games, but there isn't a big of difference between it and the original as I had hoped. I like the new "Gone Fishing" game which gives you varying amounts of point depending on the size of the fish you catch. The new basketball as well as the arrow shoot games are also fun. My favorite of the new games is the Haunted House game where you go through the house shooting at different targets for points. It's a very fun game, especially for two players. Some old favorites like Alley Ball (skeeball) are also in the new version. I couldn't see a big difference playing the games with Motion Plus, so that was disappointing.

If you already have the original Carnival games and don't need the Motion Plus attachment, then it may not be worth it for you to upgrade. However, if you don't have the original, this is a great way to get a very fun family game with a bonus of a Motion Plus attachment. There's enough variety in the games that there will be something for everyone to enjoy.

New Carnival Games Bundle with Wii Motion Plus

I ordered this box set because I thought it included a Wii Motion Plus remote. We are brand new Wii owners, and so when I read Wii Motion plus, I *assumed* it was the remote. What this set comes with is a converter sleeve for an old style Wii remote that makes it act like a motion plus. Hope that makes sense.

I wouldn't have bought this bundle if I'd known that - however, my kids are enjoying the game and it's similar to the Toy Story carnival game concept. Sadly, though, we still need another remote. The wording could be clearer - include the words "actual remote not included". That's why I am writing this - my fault for not reading more carefully, but I don't want others to have disappointed kids like mine.
