This review is from: Carnton Plantation Ghost Stories: True Tales of the Unexplained from Tennessee's Most Haunted Civil War House! (Paperback)
I am glad I did not purchase this book. I opened it with interest in a bookstore and discovered a political rant about slavery and the "South". This guy goes as far as to say that the enslaved people of African descent in the U.S. were not slaves but "servants." Maybe he would enjoy being my servant and I could force him to live where I deem appropriate, not allow him to leave and sell him when I no longer require his "servitude." He also makes judgments on how history is taught in the "North," claiming that it is inaccurate without citing his source of this information. If the title of your book refers directly to ghosts and the paranormal, don't hide your one-sided, bigoted political and racial prejudices in a chapter that pretends to be relevant to the subject. (I won't elaborate on the typographical errors that I saw in my brief glance.) This country will be a better place when narrow-minded people like this "author" no longer exist.
