Can't get enough of Carol and the Gang
I purchased these DVDs for my mom for her birthday. She always talks about the Carol Burnett Show and the classic episodes. I was glad to get to experience them with her this time. The shows are superb - wish they were still on - the only thing I'd say is I wish there were more episodes on each disc. But that's why there are so many volumes, I guess. We got classics...

Read the Editorial Review Before Buying!
The shows are great, but make sure understand that you are only buying a total of ten shows on five DVD's. Compared to other TV DVDs, the price seems very high and out of proportion for what you receive. Had I realized it was only ten episodes I would not have purchased!

When I purchased Vol 1-3 I didn't realize that it was only 6 episodes. I was disappointed because for that much money I expected more. That said, it was the full show with some extra stuff, it was good quality and fun to watch. I would recommend these DVD's to anyone that feels it's worth it to pay $10 an episode.

Carol Burnett personally hand-picked all of the 10 shows, totaling 540 minutes, featured on these 5 DVD's and the quality shows through. They are digitally remastered and completely commercial free.The clarity of the DVD's is absolutely amazing! There are other cheaper purported Carol Burnett Show DVDs on the internet which are simply bootlegs or knock-offs but these are the genuine article by Guthy-Renker and well worth the money!The ten shows feature guest appearances by Ken Berry. Bernadette Peters, Roddy McDowell, Betty White, Sammy Davis Jr., Shirley MacLaine, Steve Lawrence, Lily Tomlin, and Alan Alda. For all Caol Burnett show fans, these are definitely keepers!
