Show #1 has frequent guests Roddy McDowall & Ken Berry. It aired in early 1978, after Harvey Korman's departure from the show, and his superb comedic talents are certainly missed. Included: A goofy "song" number between Carol & Tim Conway; a "family" sketch with "successful" brother Phillip (McDowall) back for more dysfunctional abuse from Eunice (Carol) & Mama (Vicki Lawrence, excellent as usual); a "silent movie" bit with Conway & Berry as pool game rivals which shows some great clowning; and the traditional climax, a musical-dance-comedy salute to the Fred Astaire-Ginger Rogers movie "Top Hat" (renamed "High Hat" here).
Show #2 is slightly better as Carol calls it a "family" show; meaning, the regulars are the "guests". Included: A sketch about a wrong number call late at night which is blown out of proportion; Carol as a bored & lonely woman who tries everything to crash a party next door on a Saturday night; a "quickie" bit with Carol, Harvey & Tim as musicians and Vicki as singer, putting on the worst concert performance you've ever heard; Tim as a timid vacuum cleaner salesman & Vicki as the customer; and another movie parody: "Torchy Song", with Carol in the Joan Crawford role (complete with pronounced eyebrows) as a temperamental torch singer.
Thirteen turned out to be the lucky number for this volume!

Dont get me wrong absolutely LOVE Carol Burnette and Cast, but was very disappointed that for $25 that there was only 2 episodes on DVD.
