Having seen several of Carol Milne's knitted glass sculptures up close, I can tell you their impact is startling. I can't wrap my mind around what I'm seeing in front of me with the idea that someone could "knit" glass together. Mr. Isaacson's book does an excellent job of explaining the process, which is very time and labor intensive. Frankly, knowing just how it's done doesn't make me believe it's any less of a miracle that Carol gets the results she does.

Carol is a very unique artist. She has a method of her own to create her art work. I am a proud owner of a piece of her her art. I have a sculpted figure she created. You must buy the book!

This is written so clearly that I can follow the process in my head. It satisfied my curiosity and convinced me that knitting glass is too complicated for me now and for the near future.
