Product Description

A simple solution to a messy problem! T-shaped plastic strip slips into place to bridge the gap between the counter and stove. Food can't spill or drip down the crack. Three strong magnets hold it firmly in place. 21" long, 2 1/2" wide to fit all standard countertops..

This product was a big disappointment. Made from very cheap materials and not designed properly. When trying to apply the magnets to the strips, we realized that the plastic piece where the magnets needed to be put was not wide enough fit them. Therefore, there was not a good seal between the stove and the strip which would help them stay in place. Threw out the product, not worth the hassle of sending it back.

Does the job it was made for and is holding up fine, did melt a little though when i accidentally set a hot skillet to the side and on top of it. The magnets are not very strong though and I think i may figure out some way to put stronger magnets on it, the strip shifts fairly easily, though it does still cover the crevice and as far as i am aware has not allowed any grease splatter or crumbs into the crevice.

Silicone Strips Stove Counter Gap Covers - Set of 2 - Improvements
I am very disappointed with this product. I could have made something better than this with plastic corner protectors.

These items are useless for over 90% of users whose counter top is not at the exact same high as the stove.

Well, this was a waste of money. The picture is not accurate. The plastic is flimsy and brittle. The top portion of the plastic is curved, so only the outer edges touch the counter. Secondly, the piece that goes down into the slot is about 1/4 of an inch -- with the curve it doesn't even go into the gap. I don't know what I'm going to do with it -- it certainly isn't going to function the way I intended. A piece of duct tape would work better than this. Beware!

These are the cheapest junk imaginable and the magnets are so weak they are totally useless. They are those tape-backed barely magnetized strips and the adhesive won't hold them on the plastic. They don't even stick to the stove at all. They fell off, right into the crack and had to be fished out with a yardstick. The strips slide all over the place, and they are very fragile; one of mine shattered and the other just started breaking apart into pieces. They were only a few months old when they went into the trash. I wish someone would make them from rubber. I'm going to just cover that space with some duct tape and call it a day. Don't waste your money. They aren't worth the price, let alone the shipping cost. Shame on me for falling for this bad joke.

This is one of the biggest pieces of crap that I have bought. first of all it is a white plastic strip and by the picture it looks like it has a deep edge for you to put it inbetween the counter and the item you are deviding. well it isn't like the picture and the piece that you are supposed to put the tape on, isn't big enough to put the sticker and than it doesn't want to stick and it keeps popping up. I had to go out and buy 2 sided tape to finally get it to stay down and i didn't even bother to put the second one up. I threw it in the trash. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY

I blame myself for not reading the warnings of other buyers. The photo of the strip is misleading. This item is absolutely worthless even though quite expensive when the shipping and handling is included. It arrived very poorly wrapped. It was already protruding through the paper bag and damaged (bent) in two places. The section that shall be inserted between the gap is only about 1/4" wide and therefore the magnetizing strips are too big for it and cannot be attached to it. But it does not matter because what is titled as "magnet" is a supper weak sticker that actually falls down when placed on metal. PLEASE BEWARE - DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

I have used this product for a long time between stove and adjacent counter tops. Works well but eventually get ruined and need to be replaced. Only disappointment (and it was my fault for not reading correctly) was that the order was for ONE strip, not TWO as I thought it would be (and has been in the past I believe). Now I will need to order another one.
