With a big, new front porch (and little money left after building a big, new front porch) I ordered 4 Carolina Rockers. They arrived within a week, and assemble very easily - just glue the rocker runners to the chair. Except for the rocker that didn't come with any runners. Yes, we checked all the boxes. And yes, a call to Carolina Chair and Table fixed the problem easily. The rockers are comfortable, and look good. Don't mistake them for fine furniture - they ain't. The parts are rough sanded in places, nail and staple heads aren't filled, and the paint finish is so-so. But they're priced fairly, and should last for more than a few seasons. I'd recommend them

We were in North Carolina at an inn and enjoyed spending time on the porch in a Carolina Rocking Chair. When we got home, my wife asked me to get one for our back deck. Amazon has this chair available at an inexpensive price so I ordered it. When it arrived and I opened the box, it was a little smaller than the one we had sat in so we were a little disappointed. It was also a little difficult without some elbow grease to attach the rocker legs to the chair. The paint job was thin in some areas as well. Nevertheless, we think that this chair is good value for the price and a nice addition to our modest back deck. It is a keeper. We may order another to have a matching pair.

No problem with shipping and putting together, however, after approximately one month of placing them on our covered front porch the paint started to peel badly. If you sit in the chair and rest your arm, the paint particles stick to your skin. I can't believe this is happening when the chairs are brand new! The chairs were Christmas gifts from family out of town. I hope they don't see the chairs anytime soon as they already look about five years old!! How can I contact the company??????????

I ordered this chair for my sister as a gift. When it arrived, I was surprised that is needed to be assembled as it was not mentioned in the description. That aside, pieces were the wrong size and and the quality was extremely poor. To add insult to injury, when we called the carolina chair company they were extremely rude and uncooperative. definitely not worth the hassle.
