A toilet's purpose is to get rid of waste - quickly and efficiently. With this toilet, five seconds and the flush process is over and the waste is gone. If you need the second flush, there is another one in the tank and you don't have to wait for a complete refill. No clogging, no waiting and no five-minute-long episodes of swirling excrement that takes additional flushes to remove.

A flimsy box with no packing material- and many broken pieces-- arrived at my home. It was hard to believe that anyone would send such a fragile item without major protection. I refused it and was just glad I was home to inspect it when I heard all the pieces rattling around the delivery box.

Pros:
- Full height, full size. Big stable base.
- Smooth sides and open rim for easy cleaning.
- 4" trap will never clog up.
- 10" or 12" rough-in.

Cons:
- Requires multiple flushes and brushing to keep bowl clean.
- Expensive.
- Slightly questionable workmanship.

I was so prepared to love this toilet, but after nearly two years of use, it's still a little disappointing. The multi-flush concept is great, and I haven't had a bit of trouble with the flush mechanism/tank. The full-height elongated bowl is the size I wanted, too. I was so sold on the "waste first, water after; waste riding the wave down the drain line" concept, and it's not all bad. The problem is that solid waste seems to stick to the sides way too well, so you'll always have to reach for the brush to keep the bowl clean. A normal dump will take around 2 1/2 flushes to get clean, so I'm not sure it saves water, except for liquid-only waste. I'm not sure if there's something about this toilet's finish that makes waste stick better or if it's just that "normal" siphon toilets have more water to catch the waste and because the flush water in many siphon toilets moves faster to rip the waste away from the surface. If I find a way to make this toilet non-stick, I'll be sure to update this review.

The "questionable workmanship" comment is due slightly to the fact that the glazing doesn't seem continuous on some of the back/underside portions (who cares), but more importantly, on the bowl I got, the holes for mounting the seat weren't even, so my seat mounts a little crooked.
