I ran out of a few colors before I was done, If you contact the company-not the seller, they will send you more of what you need. I did not want to wait for it to be sent to me, so I went to Hobby Lobby and found some that matched to replace the missing strands myself.

So frustrating, right from the beginning. For some reason this company decided to separate all 3500 strands of yarn into 8 wrapped bundles of equal size. Why not separate by color? Who knows??? On top of this, there are 16 different shades (supposedly), which include Vanilla, Cream, Light Flesh, Dark Flesh, and Beige (just try for a moment to picture the difference between all these shades in your mind), as well as Jade, Green, and Dark Green. I got Vanilla mixed up with Cream, Dark Flesh and Beige were one and the same (I think), and apparently Jade was NOT the darkest green, as I foolishly thought, but instead the LIGHTEST green. This monkey would have received a full 5 stars from me if the company had just separated and labeled all these stupid colors. I had to go back and pull out dozens of pieces of yarn because, after doing several rows, I realized I had screwed up the colors. Also, I had to use brown for the mouth, instead of the recommended Beige, because the monkey's face looked ominously evil at first. He looks happier with brown lips, although my husband says he still has evil eyes. Next on the complaint list - I ran out of white. I ended up with yarn to spare with every other color, but ran out of white. Stupid. The reason I gave this thing 3 stars instead of 2 is because the instructions are really, really easy to follow. I'd say a dedicated child of 6 could handle this. This was my first experience with hook and latch, and I got the hang of it after 2 tries.
