Beware . . . listen carefully to the sample tracks.
If you're looking for the 1960's reggae-rocksteady Jamacian royality that I was looking for . . . go look somewhere else. This has a modern beat, not the classic melodic Studio One sound of yesteryear. Not my cup of tea, maybe yours.

Just dropped to clear up a little something. This is a great disc. This is the famous Electric Boogie that everybody does the 'electric slide' to. But, this is not the original Electric Boogie. The original was around in 1982-83. Check it out.

I bought this CD for a Line Dance Teaching assignment I had at school. There are two songs; "Electric Boogie", & "Electric Boogie-Club Mix" to which is the reason most people by this CD. These songs have stayed modern even though they were recorded back in 1982. It is an historic CD because the song Electric Boogie inspired the line dance entitled: "Electric Slide". This CD is a good addition to your collection, but it wont be one of your favorite CD's that you play often.

Although the cd was purchased for the Electric Boogaloo song, there are actually several songs were listening to on it.
