If you are a either a follower of Christ or intrigued by Christianity or Christ himself, or if you just enjoy straight from the heart, well composed hip-hop music....BUY THIS ALBUM. Every song is EPIC!!! Kamikazee (Terrel Spears) blends hip-hop, r&b, jazz and classical music altogether with heartfelt, emotional and oftentimes in your face lyrics with ear-pleasing rhyme schemes and metaphors that will make you stop and think. Are you being persecuted because of your faith in Christ? The track "Untitled" will be your theme song. Feeling like you have nothing left in you to carry on in this world? Check out "Elysium" and the stunning piano work and deep lyrics of the title track "Carpe Diem (In te domine speravi)". Want to rejoice in your salvation and just praise God? Listen to the joyful and jazzy "Roots". I could go on about every song on this album, but trust me, they are all amazing and you should really get this album, for $8.99 it is a steal. Best album of 2007 for sure, especially in its genre. One last thing, I saw him live and he had a FULL BAND together playing the songs perfectly. How often do you hear a hip hop artist with a full band live? You will not be disappointed.
